"Prison Break" star comes out as gay, declines invite to Russian film festival

Actor Wentworth Miller of the former Fox TV series "Prison Break" came out as gay Wednesday in a letter sent to the St. Petersburg International Film Festival. Miller declined his invitation to the festival in response to Russia's new anti-LGBT "propaganda" laws. "The situation is in no way acceptable, and I cannot in good conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are being systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly," Miller wrote.
