Report: ESPN abandoned concussion doc after pressure from NFL

ESPN on Thursday decided to remove its support from a documentary on concussions in the NFL that was being made in partnership with the PBS series "Frontline." Although ESPN said the decision was made because of a lack of editorial control, sources told The New York Times that it came after a meeting with NFL brass, including Commissioner Roger Goodell, in which they discussed their unhappiness with the project.
