Veteran's death leads to calls to reopen Roseburg ICU

The death of an Army veteran who was being transferred from the Roseburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center to a hospital in Springfield, Ore., has raised calls to reopen the ICU at Roseburg, which was closed in 2009. The patient fell ill after surgery but the local hospital's ICU was full. Roseburg has suspended all but same-day surgeries at the hospital.
