Wis. district chooses positive behaviors system, experiential curriculum

The Washington Island School District in Wisconsin has adopted Tribes, a positive behaviors system that focuses on students' relationships with school staff and ensuring students feel safe in school. The district originally planned to implement the Expeditionary Learning curriculum, but shifted to Tribes this year -- with a focus on firsthand or experiential learning.
