Texas students, teachers to share materials on iTunes channel

Students and parents in Texas now have free access to multimedia educational materials uploaded by teachers through the Texas Education iTunes U channel. The online program also allows teachers to share and comment on each other's videotaped lessons. The state partnered with Apple to develop the tool, which will also include materials from such nonprofit groups as PBS and the Smithsonian Institution.
