Developing countries embrace mobile at rapid rate as first Internet connection

Mobile devices are emerging at a quicker pace in developing countries than in more mature economies, bringing the Internet for the first time to many people who previously had no access. "We're seeing mobility expanding the Internet itself. The use patterns because of that are really interesting because many of these countries are adopting newer technologies and using mobile devices more aggressively than some of the mature countries," said Daniel Weisbeck, chief marketing officer of Netbiscuits.
