JPMorgan reportedly curbs correspondent relationships

JPMorgan Chase will not engage in more correspondent relationships with banks outside the U.S. as part of an effort to toughen risk controls and increase protection against money laundering, the bank reportedly says in a memo to employees. JPMorgan will continue relationships with existing clients and has no plans to exit the industry, the memo reportedly says.
