Swiss camera-maker finds inspiration in wonders of human eyesight

A Swiss "neurotechnological" company is working to advance the field of artificial vision and build a better camera at the same time by mimicking the magic of the human eye. The VS128 Dynamic Vision Sensor by Zurich-based iniLabs is designed to work like the human retina, and according to its developers, it dramatically improves the efficiency of shooting moving images in less-than-ideal conditions.
