USPSTF recommends intervention to address teen smoking

With nearly 1 in 5 teens finishing high school as smokers, the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recommends interventions with a doctor, such as conversations about smoking risks and even mailed materials, to help address the issue. However, the task force and other experts said broader strategies are needed to help cut smoking rates.
