Social media grows more popular in Africa

When Kenyan band M.O.G wanted to promote its album and clothing line, it chose Facebook to spread the word. Experts say social media is now one of the top ways for advertisers to reach African customers. "In the last 12 months, social media has increased by 86.9 per cent in Africa," said OrnicoGroup CEO Oresti Patricios.
