Intel next week will debut its low-power Atom "Avoton" processor for high-density servers, a source says. "Avoton" chips with up to eight cores will be fabricated with a 22-nanometer process, Agam Shah writes. The chipmaker also is expected to unveil its Atom "Rangeley" processor for networking equipment.
