W.Va. had highest percentage of adults with diabetes in 2012

Data from the "F as in Fat: How Obesity Threatens America's Future 2013" report showed that West Virginia had the highest rate of adults with diabetes in 2012 at 13.0%, while Alaska had the lowest rate at 7.0%. The report also revealed that nine of the 10 states with the highest prevalence of adult diabetes were in the South.
