Aerobics is better than resistance training for fat loss

Sedentary, overweight adults who did aerobic exercise reduced visceral and liver fats and improved heart disease risk factors, while those who participated only in resistance training such as weightlifting did not, Duke University researchers reported. The study in the American Journal of Physiology also showed that adults who did aerobic exercise burned 67% more calories than those who did resistance training.
