Researchers: Vitamin D helps muscle pain in breast-cancer patients

Large doses of vitamin D can help reduce the joint and muscle pain experienced by breast-cancer patients receiving estrogen-lowering therapies, according to a study. Some of the drugs that lower estrogen levels cause musculoskeletal discomfort, so knowing vitamin D can help relieve that could benefit patient quality of life.
