Mitt Romney secures nomination, plans aggressive fall campaign

Mitt Romney officially secured the Republican Party's presidential nomination Tuesday, gaining access to his well-stuffed general-election war-chest. That funding will help Romney reboot his campaign and flood the airwaves with new ads explaining his plan to turn around the U.S. economy and help American businesses, surrogates told reporters. "Romney has a great chance to break out of the summer stalemate, but he's going to need smart advertising, messaging and targeting to do it," writes Christian Heinze.
