South Africa court upholds drug price regulations

South Africa's Cape High Court dismissed a challenge to the government's new regulations of pharmaceutical prices. An official of the Pharmaceutical Society of South Africa said the group is considering an appeal of the ruling, while the country's health minister suggested other countries may follow South Africa's lead in regulating the prices of medicines.
