Expert warns about potential dangers of hair dyes for pets

Animal owners in China increasingly are having their pets dyed to resemble pandas, tigers and other looks, a trend that could have fatal consequences for the animals, says an official with the International Center for Veterinary Services in Beijing. The dye could be ingested by pets or absorbed through the animal's skin, she said.
