Singapore focuses on financial skills for students

A programme focused on improving financial literacy among Singapore's students will receive more than £365,000 in extra funding this year. Teachers will be trained to become "financial-literacy ambassadors," and students will learn how to manage money. The programme is expected to reach 400,000 students and 5,000 teachers by 2012.
