4 reasons why aging is a good thing

While much of the news has focused on the stagnant spending habits of aging Americans, there are compelling, yet oft overlooked, reasons why an older cohort can be a benefit, writes Philip Moeller. On the list: Boomers possess clout when it comes to voting; and they also help shape a more accepting cultural view of the elderly. "It may not feel good some days to be old, but there's never been a better time to grow old," Moeller writes.
