Cornell team aims high at AI competition

A team at Cornell University's Creative Machines Lab has created two "chat bots" with the ability to talk to each other. Researchers designed the virtual duo to compete in this year's Loebner Prize Competition in Artificial Intelligence, which has a $25,000 prize waiting for the first chat bot whose banter is human enough to fool the judges.
