Cumulus will acquire Dial Global for $260 million

Cumulus Media announced on Friday that it will purchase radio-syndication company Dial Global for $260 million in cash. The combined companies would bring new competition to Clear Channel's Premiere Networks and Disney's ESPN Radio, The Wall Street Journal's Hannah Karp writes. "These transactions give us the necessary scale to provide the marketing and enterprise solutions our advertising and affiliate partners require," said Cumulus CEO Lew Dickey.
