Bubble curtain systems used in Oregon to protect environment

Bubble curtain systems can help reduce construction impact on the environment by distributing air bubbles around the perimeter of a pile. By using the bubble curtain, the Oregon Department of Transportation hopes to protect federally listed fish in the Willamette and McKenzie Rivers, where bridge construction is taking place.
