U.S. officials investigate possible airport terror plot

Two men arrested in Amsterdam for carrying suspicious items in their luggage may have been planning a dry run for a terrorist attack, U.S. officials said. The two passengers were traveling on a United flight from Chicago to Amsterdam, and both changed their travel plans at the last minute to a direct flight. The suspicious items found included a box cutter, large knives and a cell phone taped to a Pepto-Bismol bottle.
