CSX recognized for $59M intermodal expansion in Ohio

CSX's $59 million intermodal yard expansion in Columbus, Ohio, "strengthens the region's transportation infrastructure, and provides our businesses with access to more efficient, cost-effective green transportation," said Mayor Michael Coleman. The project is expected to add capacity for the area's near-term commercial growth, boost the Class I's "economical and environmentally friendly" intermodal freight operations and "help increase the benefits available in Central Ohio and beyond," said Wilby Whitt, CSX president of Intermodal Terminals.
