Study: Retail clinics provide high-quality care

A recent study found that retail clinics in Minnesota, which are typically staffed by nurse practitioners, can provide a high level of care to patients with minor ailments at more affordable rates. Researchers found the standard of care was in line with medical guidelines and treatment costs were 30% to 40% lower than doctor's offices or urgent care centers.
