World leaders must act faster on climate change, U.N. chief says

World leaders should take swift action in the fight against climate change for "the future of humanity," U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said. The statement came as he moved to bolster support for a global pact to curb greenhouse-gas emissions ahead of a U.N. summit in Copenhagen. Leaders should develop an accord "that is comprehensive, equitable and balanced," Ban said.
