Gartner: PC sales won't be as robust as predicted

Research firm Gartner has pulled back on its initial expectations around worldwide PC shipments for the second half of 2010 and now predicts a total of 367.8 million units, compared with its first estimate of 376.6 million units. "There is no doubt that consumer, if not business PC demand has slowed relative to expectations in mature markets," research director Ranjit Atwal said.
