Ford Evos offers a vision of cars to come

When Ford debuts its fully connected Evos hybrid concept car on Sept. 15 at the Frankfurt Auto Show, the automaker may inaugurate an era of intuitive automobiles that are designed to integrate into the lives of their drivers. The Evos would enable drivers to communicate with devices in their home and do things such as turning off lights or closing the garage door, according to reports. An integrated calendar could let the Evos warm itself up before the driver was set to jump in. Ford says it has no plans for a production model, but some of the features may show up in future cars.
