WIN to test wellness technology with study of prediabetic children

Creators of Wellness Integrated Network in Youngstown, Ohio, aim to create a network of patients, insurers, employers, health care providers and food retailers connected to customized diet plans for patients who will be tracked through mobile technology. They're starting with a small pilot study of 50 prediabetic children who will get smartphones and nutrition plans.
