AT&T starts lab to speed devices to market

AT&T's new Austin, Texas, lab will help handset makers and developers bring their devices onto its network at a faster pace, the carrier said. The lab will act as AT&T's certification center for a wide range of wireless devices, with the primary focus on making it easier for consumer-electronics and machine-to-machine companies to reach the market.
