Teachers learn that Google Earth, wikis can be useful tools

Some Massachusetts teachers say they are learning to integrate more technology such as Google applications and social networking into lessons in order to keep students engaged. Teachers say Google Earth 5.1 can be used to enhance lessons in science and the humanities, and they also are maintaining blogs as a way to receive feedback from students and parents via online wikis. Some teachers say students are more likely to offer ideas and comment on classroom lessons online than when in person.
