Satellite companies, TV stations urge FCC to keep Ku-band clear

Satellite operators and broadcasters are united in asking federal regulators to ensure that in-flight broadband services do not interference with Ku-band satellite and TV services. They were responding to Qualcomm's plans to operate terrestrial-based mobile broadband services for passengers in the 14.0-14.5 GHz band, spectrum that fixed satellite services use for uplinking.
