Cancer vaccine development making headway

Researchers are making advances in vaccines to prevent and treat cancer, in part due to a better understanding of the immune system and of the timing of vaccine administration. "It's been a slow evolution, but we are seeing the first inklings that cancer vaccines can work," one cancer vaccine expert said.
