Local TV's NFL loss could be radio's gain

Some local TV stations could find themselves on the losing end if the NFL teams in their markets are unable to sell out their home games, resulting in a local TV "blackout." But the blackouts could create an opportunity for sports radio stations, which could reserve ad inventory to sell during the three-day period after which a team has announced the game won't air on local TV, Radio Business Report notes.
