Survey: Docs want to see sales reps on own terms

More than 70% of doctors who do not accept pharmaceutical sales calls will interact with sales representatives at educational events, according to a survey of 1,100 physicians attending medical-educational meetings. Forty percent of the "no-see" doctors surveyed said they incorporate what they hear at a group information session into their practices, but only 19% incorporate information from a booth interaction.
