Mexican president argues for sweeping reform

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto defended his sweeping reform of energy, education, telecommunication and tax policies during his first State of the Union address. The speech had to be delayed and moved to another location because of mass protests by teachers. Another demonstration is scheduled for Sunday by opponents of his plan to open the energy sector to foreign private investment.
