Providers find e-consultations valuable in patient care

A Canadian study in Telemedicine and e-Health revealed more than 90% of physicians expressed positive views on e-consultations and found the service valuable for patients. Researchers also found the use of e-consultations helped prevent in-person visits in 43% of examined cases.
