Samsung to use Lookout antivirus to tackle Android vulnerabilities

Samsung is set to announce it will begin bundling Lookout antivirus software on all new smartphones running on Google's Android platform, which accounts for nearly 80% of all mobile malware. Lookout, which has both free and premium tiers of antivirus protection, works by checking application downloads against a database of threats and offers cloud-based scanning of files, Web pages and e-mail attachments.
