Wireless home monitoring shows promise in heart failure care

Wireless at-home monitoring of heart failure patients using an implanted device led to better outcomes than standard care, according to a researcher from Germany who presented findings of the IN-TIME study at the European Society of Cardiology conference. Dr. Gerhard Hindricks said the program could easily be initiated with specially trained nurses monitoring data.
