Hospitals, docs plan revenue cycle management system upgrades

A Black Book Rankings survey of more than 8,000 financial executives at U.S. physician practices and hospitals reveals that 42% of respondents seek to update their revenue cycle management software in the next six to 12 months. The survey also notes that the majority of physician practices are looking to adopt a fully integrated EHR, practice management and medical software package that can be accessed via the cloud.
