Survey: Dementia patients do not feel part of the community

In the U.K., the Alzheimer's Society called on communities to become more dementia-friendly after a survey of dementia patients found one-third only got out of the house once per week and 10% left home only monthly. The survey found most dementia patients did not feel connected to their communities, and many saw themselves as a burden.
