New-media concerns driving Hollywood agency changes

As Hollywood tries to grapple with the impact of new-media platforms, two major studios -- 20th Century Fox and Lions Gate -- are looking for new media agencies, and a third, MGM, this summer switched its $90 million account to RPA after hiring Palisades Media in March. Fox, which had used MindShare for most of its media buying, is looking for a global agency to handle its $1 billion in business, while independent Lions Gate wants a new shop for its $130 million account after having used Palisades for seven years.
