Employee tax cuts may be part of Obama's jobs plan

A one-year payroll-tax cut for employees and continuing unemployment benefits are said to be two of the biggest items in President Barack Obama's jobs proposal, to be presented to Congress on Thursday. Sources say the plan includes tax cuts and spending for next year totaling about $300 billion.
