New Zealand considers mandating an anti-bullying programme

New Zealand officials are calling for a nationwide anti-bullying programme following a high-profile violent incident at a school. Currently, schools develop their own disciplinary programmes. However, Schools Trustees Association President Lorraine Kerr, said all schools should not be forced to comply based on an incident at one school. "It's not a one-size fits all situation -- what works in a school from a nicer area might not work for one from an area which has gang problems, for example," she said.
