Microsoft has struck a deal with Local, owner of the Krillion shopping platform, to bring more local listings and advertising to Bing enterprises, writes Laurie Sullivan. According to a Local executive, the company has aggregated data from some 75,000 locations from brands and retailers through licensing partnerships. Microsoft's move is meant to improve the location-based shopping functionality of Bing searches and maps, Sullivan writes.
