Samsung: Better economy, new models will boost TV market

Improving economic conditions in the U.S. and the introduction of Ultra HD televisions will drive higher TV demand in the run-up to the holidays, according to Kim Hyun-suk of Samsung Electronics. "The first half of the year was quite tough for the television market. Now that the U.S. economy is recovering, we foresee that the second half will be quite positive or will recover," he said in this interview.
