TEPCO is criticized for releasing misleading data about Fukushima Daiichi leaks

Tokyo Electric Power drew criticism from Shunichi Tanaka, chairman of Japan's Nuclear Regulation Authority, over the release of misleading data about radioactive water leaks at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant. "I've come to think they need to be spoon-fed," he said. "It is regrettable that TEPCO has caused confusion and fear in the international community by spreading misleading information."
