Texas utility pledges to disclose more details about renewable-energy costs

CPS Energy is taking steps to be more transparent about how much it spends on renewable-energy contracts and how it comes up with the fuel-adjustment rates on its monthly bills, said President and CEO Doyle Beneby. The San Antonio, Texas, utility intends to talk with partners on how it can reveal more details about its renewable-energy expenditures, Beneby stated.
