ACC, other groups meet with EPA on TSCA prioritization plan

The American Chemistry Council was among groups meeting with the Environmental Protection Agency this week to discuss the agency's proposal for processing and prioritizing chemical reviews. ACC has released its own proposal. "Our focus is on how priority chemicals should be chosen. ACC's approach would ensure chemicals are evaluated by transparent scientific criteria, and use and exposure patterns are relevant information the agency should consider," said Michael Walls, ACC's vice president of regulatory and technical affairs.
