NLRB's authority is up for challenge by House Republicans

Measures to rein in the power of the National Labor Relations Board are being introduced by House Republicans. In particular focus is a proposed NLRB rule that would make union elections easier and faster. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., promised that pending legislation would "bring common sense to union organizing procedures to protect the interests of both employers and their workers."
